Are you registered?

Yes, we are Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs).  Registered status is achieved after rigorous training and passing the standard provincial board exams written by the BC College of RMTs. Continuing Education is a requirement to maintaining registered status. Registered therapists also have strict practice bylaws and guidelines governed by the BC College of Massage Therapists and are subject to the Health Professions Act.

Is massage therapy safe during pregnancy?

Yes, massage therapy is safe in all stages of pregnancy, though techniques and positioning are modified. If you have a condition you are concerned about, give us a call and discuss it with us.  You can often continue getting massage with most conditions, with modifications to the treatment and as long as it's okay with your doctor or midwife.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You do not need to have a referral to see a Registered Massage Therapist. If you are being covered by your extended health care plan be sure to check your policy to see if a referral is needed in order to be reimbursed for the treatments.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes.  We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment time. Late cancellations and missed appointments will be charged at 50% of the cost of treatment.

What's the best way to book an appointment?

Most efficient and for your convenience there is on-line booking available. Please click on the “online booking” link.  If you have questions or want to speak to us directly please call us at 250 508 5749 and we will return your phone call at our earliest convenience. Since we area often in session, we aim to return phone calls in 1-2 hours.

Is massage therapy covered by my insurance provider?

Every insurance plan is different. The majority cover massage therapy and the amount covered depends on each individual plan. It may either be a specific amount per visit or a percentage of the fee. Most plans also have a yearly cap. It is best to contact your insurance benefits company directly for reimbursement details.

Do you do direct billing?

We currently do direct billing for:

- Blue Cross

- Telus

- MSP claims: for people with premium assistance; $23 per visit for a max of 10 visits per year can be reimbursed

If we do not yet direct bill your insurance company, payment is due after treatment and a receipt will be provided that you can submit to your insurance plan.


Where can I park?

Behind the building there is a free 2 hour parking lot.  There is also street parking available throughout the neighbourhood.
